Week 12/13 Devlog - Gregory


After the playtest we recieved several complaints about our level, so i decided to rework the whole thing with more sprites and more background image, I cut the hazards and added more enemies, and checkpoints and more animated visuals to teach the player about the game and to prepare them for the boss, there was a lot of last minute smaller details that i also managed to add such as indicators and billboards that display the controls for the player. And also some camera angle changes to get a better visual representation of the level. Some new faces for the boss were also made but that was an easy fix thanks to how the file was setup.

In the end I managed to get all the detail i hoped for into the game so that the game looks like what its meant to be. Im also alot happier with the redesigned level because it make a lot more sense now that im able to compare the two.
