Since I will be the one doing the art on this project I firstly wanted to figure out how some of the tools I will be using inside unity. To do that I downloaded a sprite sheet off the internet to experiment with the animator and how to set up animation. With the sprite sheet I was able to set up four different animation states with each being able to transition between each other. I tested the transitions by creating paths from one state to another by muting some of the transitions to check if everything worked correctly. I tried to set it up to work with player controls but couldn't figure it out just yet so that might be a part of the goal for next week together with a potential self made placeholder character
