Week 2 DevLog - Gregory


For the week 2 prototype i decided to create a white boxed level, this design is to be used as an idea for the levels that will be implemented in the final project. For the design of this prototype i made the level easier so that the player may learn the controls of the game, the level features hazards and obstacles that the player will want to avoid by jumping over them, some of these obstacles have a greater punishment than others for example some holes will have the player fall down to a lower part of the level while the spikes will instantly send the player back to the start. When i finished mapping out the level i did several play tests to make sure every jump is possible and that the player can reach the end.
