Week 6 Devlog - Patryk


This week I focused on improving the movement once again. I gave the player the ability to dash through specified walls and through enemies, this will be useful later on whenever I'm making the boss, which I plan to start with soon as that's a pretty big part of the game. The idea is that the player will be able to dash through attacks if they time it correctly. I think this will make the boss pretty engaging, don't have too many idea's on how I will make the boss but I'll come up with something. I also worked on the health system for the player, these work similar to the health containers in games like hollow knight, so they can be scaled by however much we need, and they work with both taking damage and healing, although nothing can deal or heal yet.
