Week 9 Devlog - Patryk
This week I entirely recoded the pound attack, I really did not like how it worked and I wanted to make sure that it makes sense with what it does, I think I got it to a decent state but more tweaking will probably be done. I also coded in an entirely new attack, the "pillar" attack. It basically just shoots down a whole bunch pillars in an order, I'm pretty happy with it and I think it looks really good. I'm trying to do anything other than the dash attack currently because I'm not sure what to do with it. I also realised the player's sprite wasn't even centered so I changed that and made the hitbox a little smaller to be more forgiving. I entirely changed the health system too, like I mentioned some other week we weren't really happy with it so I made a new system, we can't change the max health this way but I think overall we are pretty happy with it and we'll be sticking to 3 health.
